Happy Random Acts of Kindness Day!

Happy random acts of kindness day! I think this is such a fun day because although we should be proactive with random acts of kindness always, it shows how much random acts of kindness mean to others. Here & here are some of my past posts about random acts of kindness.

You can go to for lots of ideas or here are some other sites:

Camille Styles
Martha Stewart
Good Housekeeping

Such a cool random acts of kindness kit.

  • Send a nice text, email or call to a service person you just used. I always love receiving these messages.
  • Pick up trash in your neighborhood.
  • Give someone a compliment.
  • Wave at the person who just cut you off.
  • Smile or say hello for no reason.
  • Leave love notes for your significant other.
  • Mail a letter.
  • Carry someone's groceries.
  • Donate items to a local nursing home or hospital.
  • Buy someone's gas.

What are some of your favorite random acts of kindness?

Do you send Valentine's Day cards? When I was at the store I saw these and thought they were so cute. Plus, who doesn't love receiving snail mail? I had these stamps already and picked up some stickers to use as seals.

EMC Travels: Hotel Valencia

I have been meaning to post this for sometime and since I book tons of hotels for my concierge clients and myself I thought I would share one that I loved, Hotel Valencia in San Antonio, TX . We stayed here about a year and half ago and couldn't get over how charming this hotel was. We were welcomed with a cocktail, they had great service and it was right on the riverwalk in San Antonio. I loved how the hotel was decorated and there were so many great outdoor places you could sit and relax. I will definitely be staying here again. Have you been here?
