They are not perfect as they get used frequently so I have reorganized a couple of times that I have been over there. Almost every household that I step foot into has a junk drawer.

Made in the USA: Splendid Shirts

Splendid clothing company is a clothing company that I really like. They make basic, comfortable, soft clothing that is made right here in the USA. I particularly love their shirts. The downside is that they pill easily. I try not to dry them in the dryer, but often forget or if my husband is doing the laundry he doesn't think of it unless I tell him and well, I don't always tell him haha.

Client Fun, Busy Family: Silver Serving Pieces and Entertainment Linens Organization

This is once again from a project that I worked on with a previous client several months ago. They have a great dining area and like many people, things get unorganized and not always put in the proper place. This usually happens over time, because you are in a rush to clean up, don't have the energy to organize right away, etc. etc. They had so many nice silverware pieces and linens that I just quickly organized  them and put like items together.

Made in the USA: Ashley Longshore Art

In 2014 I stumbled upon Ashley Longshore and have loved her artworks ever since. I am dying to have an original piece from her, but for now I will settle on her Artgasm box that comes quarterly. This is my second year receiving it and man I love the surprises that show up in the mail. I love that she is based in New Orleans and her pieces are made right here in the USA!

DIY Yoga Mat Cleaner

When I go to yoga class I try to always bring my own mat. It bothers me when people don't wipe down the yoga mats at the gym, so I make sure to always wipe the mat down if for some reason I forget my mat. Most gyms should have wipes, but if not you can always make your own spray and bring it with you.

Here is an easy DIY yoga mat cleaner recipe:

• 2oz Spray Bottle
• 2 tablespoons Witch Hazel
• 2 tablespoons Water
• 5 drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil
• 5 drops Lavender Essential Oil

Directions: Mix all together and put in a spray bottle. Store it in a cool place or bring it in your yoga bag so you have it when you need it.

Client Fun, Busy Family: Kitchen Cabinet Organization

This is an organization project that I started several months ago and if you have been following along here, here, here and here you know that I have been working on several areas of their home. The kitchen was a big project, but they did have systems in place to work with which is always fantastic. Some cabinets and drawers, like the picture above, was pretty organized already. In those cabinets and drawers, I would just make minor tweaks.

Here is what I did:

• Put items in areas they belong
• Clean out cabinets and drawers if they were dirty
• Organize all drawers and cabinets
• In the medicine cabinet got rid of old medication
