Houston Professional Organizer // Client Whole House Organization: Bathroom Organization

This client bought a gift certificate for professional organizing when I was running a Small Business Saturday discount in 2018. I am so proud of her because she was committed to organizing and we went through her whole house in just under a year and got everything organized. When you are organizing the goal is always to make your life more efficient in some way. Having certain things you need within reach makes things easier.

We did multiple areas in the bathroom, but this area was right above the toilet. We used all for The Home Edit products for Container Store.

Here is what I did:

  • I took everything out of the cabinet.
  • Sorted like items together.
  • Got rid of items she no longer needed.
  • Took several items out of their boxes. This helps them be more accessible and able to contain better.

Here are products we used:

Inexpensive Bathroom Organization Project

This is a bathroom organization project I worked on last year for a client in Bellaire. I really wish I had the before shot of this area, but I don't. The great thing about this project is she didn't spend a ton of money on organization products. We used these white bins that many clients opt for because they are so inexpensive and go on sale often.

Here is what we did:

  • Took everything out from under the sink
  • Got rid of old and expired items
  • Sorted like items together
  • Then sorted between his and hers
  • Contained in these white bins
  • Organized them underneath the sink based on his and her side
  • Refolded the towels to make them more visually appealing since this cabinet under the sink is open

How do you organize underneath your bathroom sink?

Houston Organizer // Client EaDo Get it Done: Bathroom Organization Before & After

We did this bathroom organization project in Eado near downtown Houston a couple of years ago and I am just now catching up with everything lol. For the life of me I can't find photos of the drawers that we did, but we did use clear Linus drawer organizers to organize the drawers. In the cabinet we used white plastic bins. This client wanted to get organized throughout their whole house, so we slowly made our way through the house.

Here is the main thing we did in this bathroom:
  1. Get rid of trash.
  2. Relocate items that did not belong in bathroom.
  3. Consolidate similar items to the same drawer.
  4. Sort out his and hers items.
  5. Put like items together in the cabinets.
  6. Use organization items.

We used these drawer organizers and these white plastic bins that are an inexpensive option.

Remember when you are organizing it is best to purge and sort before you go out and buy a lot of organizing tools. That way you know exactly what you have.

Client Busy Mama: Bathroom Organization

This is a client that I worked with earlier this year. I know it is taking me forever to post this. I did her kids closets, which you can find here, here, and here. Then we started an organization in her bathroom. Like many bathroom organization projects, we purged a lot.  We usually all have expired items we need to get rid of, items that we no longer like / use, items that are broken, and the list goes on and on. We didn't buy any new product for this project and just used what she already had. She did already have some good drawer dividers, which were great. I know some of the "after" photos still look like it is not organized, but it really was and we were working with what we had because this is real life.
