Being a professional organizer means that we organize all types of spaces including kids spaces. The son and daughter were sharing a closet so we made sure each of them had a designated side of the closet and we put some organization systems in place. This client did not want to change the hangers in the closet so we left them how they were. We did not purge anything and made everything work based on the space and organization products we had on hand.
Here is what we did:
- Made sure each child had their own side of the closet.
- Used what they had in regards to hangers.
- Separated clothes by child, type and color.
- Added baskets for for various things that they had in their rooms.
- Added labels and labeled each basket.
- Organized inside of all the drawers.
